How it started
This project began in February 2025 as an independent initiative. It started from a simple feeling that the way we speak every day is rarely written down, even though it carries culture, humor, and meaning. Most of it lives orally, so this became a space to document it and make it accessible, including for non-Arabic speakers through translation and context.
Today, the project has grown into a small but active archive of Jordanian colloquial language, shared with a growing audience of over 30K across platforms, all built organically without sponsorships. What started as an idea is now becoming a reference point for people who want to understand how Jordanians actually speak, with ongoing work to expand, organize, and deepen the content.
